Hey Oprah, here's my Master Class!
Personal reflections written around Cara's 42nd birthday, celebrated on February 11, 2019.
This blog is a place for personal reflections and honest updates, written in the same spirit of bravery and service that shapes the wider mission. Posts wander between memories of time spent in Haiti, quiet milestones worth celebrating, and the ordinary texture of daily life, where resilience often shows up in small, unglamorous ways. Some entries lean into the work of advocacy and inclusion, others simply sit with a moment and let it breathe. Taken together, they offer a warm, unhurried record of living bravely and serving others in the face of adversity, shared openly with anyone who stops by.
About the writing
